How to Power the EMU-1

← Back

When the gauges are to remain in-circuit, the EMU-1 has to be powered from the same supply that is powering the gauges for the engine that it is monitoring.  The best way to do this is to wire directly from the back of the positive and GND terminal on the back of the gauge closest to the EMU-1.  If the EMU-1 is used to replace the gauges, it will automatically take over the powering of the senders and can be powered as is convenient.  Full wiring instructions for the EMU-1 can be found in the EMU-1 User Manual available on our website.

When using a single EMU-1 with two engines, the engines and their senders/gauges must share a common ground.
