I’m working on a yacht with Variable Pitch Propeller we monitor the engine with EMU-1 linked into Maretron. I’m looking to improve the pitch angle monitoring, I’m not aware of any PGNs for Prop Pitch. But thought Trim/Tilt would be a good alternative. I see that there’s still no support for Trim/Tilt on the EMU1 yet. In the meantime I’m considering creating a custom gauge for a tank level and hopefully -100% to 100%.. Just wondering if anyone has tried a similar get around to other problems?
The implementation of Tilt/Trim is something that has been considered for the additional Auxiliary connections on the EMU-1. We plan to review the options for these 2 connections at the next product review point for the EMU-1. I can’t confirm when this will be, but I will add your request into the capture database so we can log the number of requests for a specific feature.
