Why does the NGX-1 appear twice in my device list?

The NGX-1 registers as two virtual devices on the NMEA 2000 network:

• VD0 (Virtual Device 0): The core gateway function
• VD1 (Virtual Device 1): The application/converter function

This is expected behaviour. Both entries represent the one physical device. Some software and MFDs may show both entries; this is normal.
