Today, we bid a fond farewell and adieu to our Chief Operating Officer, Lesley Keets. Lesley joined Actisense in 2007, originally to look after the sales and marketing functions. As the business developed and grew, Lesley took on ownership of the company’s day-to-day operations, eventually reaching the pinnacle as COO and a director on the company’s board. Working alongside fellow directors, Phil and Michele Whitehurst, Lesley oversaw the growth of the Actisense brand and was instrumental in helping to build the enviable culture that the company embraces today.
CEO, Phil Whitehurst, said:
“Lesley has been such a mainstay of the Actisense family, and we will certainly miss her. Above all else, Lesley is a people person… She built wonderful relationships with our customers at tradeshows like METS and took great care in helping develop the career frameworks for our colleagues across the business. Ever-professional, Lesley’s warm and generous spirit earned her the respect and admiration of all those who worked with her. Actisense thanks Lesley for everything she’s done in helping build the business and we wish her every success in her next exciting adventure!”
Lesley commented:
“Over the last 15 years, Actisense has grown through collaboration, direction, and organisation and I am proud to have led my team to this point of success, celebrating our most successful year ever. Having built a strong culture, with an employee centric approach, I know my team will continue to flourish and sparkle, and I’d like to thank each of them for everything they have accomplished so far, and everything I know they will do from now.
I have met, introduced, and worked with fantastic partners, customers and suppliers who have not only supported my endeavours but have believed and truly bought into our ambition. Those key contacts have enabled Actisense to develop into the business it is today.
I will miss the people who have made my time at Actisense so much fun, and who have made me laugh every day. Thank you to each and everyone of you!”
