Actisense, the multi award-winning marine & agritech electronics brand and NMEA specialist, has released an updated version of their EBL Reader.

The company, based in Poole United Kingdom, create unique software tools like the EBL Reader and provide these free of charge, to help their customers make the most of their NMEA equipment. The EBL Reader is a piece of utility software allowing any EBL log files recorded by NMEA Reader, Actisense Toolkit and now the W2K-1 (NMEA 2000 to Wi-Fi Gateway) to be viewed. These recorded data files enable basic diagnostics and the analysis of NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 network problems. This tool has been designed to make life easier for the installer as the data in the logged files from NMEA Reader can be viewed in decoded format making analysing easier.

The revised version – EBL Reader 2 – has new key features including:

  • Works with W2K-1
  • Improved data handling, filtering and usability
  • Built in help
  • Bug fixes
