The annual week-long event was held at the DoubleTree Universal Hotel in Orlando, Florida, and culminated in the NMEA Product of Excellence Awards on Thursday 21st September. This is the 2nd year running that Actisense have taken home this accolade.

The award was voted by fellow NMEA members, the Actisense NGT-1 has been selected as the best NMEA 2000® Sensor of 2016. This was the second time we were recognised and honoured with the NMEA Product of excellence award.

Actisense received the acclaimed award from the National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA) in recognition of their popular EMU-1 (Engine Monitoring Unit). The Actisense EMU-1, a specialised analogue to NMEA 2000 Gateway that converts data from analogue engine senders into NMEA 2000, enables NMEA 2000 display devices to monitor the engine on a vessel.
